I just switched my splash page image. I am going to upload the previous one because I like it so much and as usual, no one understands the beauty of a 640×480 image because everyone expects the newest and best images. I will just remove the kettle from on top of the wood burning stove and reminisce about the good ole Thoreau days of 320×240.
I have been thinking a lot about what I would like to write before I leave Earth. I don’t plan to leave anytime soon but I sometimes think it would be a shame not to sound as clear as I am capable of sounding before I go. I have written a great deal of text that may not be very clear to anyone that would read it. This was done on my travels in a journal mostly between 2002 and 2008. I wrote a bit before 2002 and not so much after 2008 but it all goes together. It all has a place. When I wasn’t writing I was definitely photographing damn near everything. People think it is always best to spend time taking photos of people you know. Well, I found it hard to not have video run 24 x 7 in my life. I never used video because of the resource limitations of my time but I would have if I could have gotten away with it. A lot of people are starting to look at continually on cameras or wearable still image shooters. This interest will continue to grow. I am pretty excited about all of it and it would have been a delight to train my favorite AI as it processed this content related to my life.
I looked at open source animation software tonight for the fun of it. I also looked at voice generator websites where you could paste in a paragraph and it would generate a spoken transcription. I am pretty sure my operating system could do this using “Accessibility” but I just wanted to see what the net could offer. I doubt I will use any of that stuff. I want to narrate videos but I don’t think I will use computer generated voice or corny little characters.
I watched the Wintergatan video about the unboxing of their old marble machine in France. ( https://youtu.be/vIrX81SVwnQ ) I have a few things to say about their endeavor but I will have to get into that another time.
Well folks, I don’t think I want to take screenshots of RobinHood anymore. It isn’t because I am doing so well but I am in the plus. I just want people to know that I have chosen to prioritize the account in comparison to the other 2 accounts I have. In other words, my other two accounts with brokerages may have limited life spans. Robinhood is really the way to go and I think it has so much potential. It is a perfect example of a company that daily whoops ass all over hell and no one really pays attention to them. It is just a matter of time. They will probably go public and have a valuation of around 20+ billion in the next 5 years or so but who cares now. No one. The concept of no commission on ETFs is still something that will take a long ass time to reach the average dumbass. Oh well. I don’t really have a desire to convince anyone of anything. If you contact me in some way, you might get me to write more and that may be a wise thing for some people financially. Not because I always say the best thing but I almost always happen to be thinking in some way about the best thing but I don’t always make the best decisions about the best thing. Story of my life.
